This is a banjo I made using Australian Gum for the neck. I chose a misshapen gourd that looked like it would be easy to hold on to! I lengthened the scale to 26 inches and made the headstock a little smaller than the first two. Also, I made an additional lamination in the headstock just for fun, and also a mini-backstrap. the neck profile is pretty slim, but fattens up at the gourd.
